ABOUT ME
I'm Dr. Adam Hamawy. I'm a father, a husband, a humanitarian, a surgeon, a veteran, and a small business owner.
I've dedicated my career to serving others. I served as a combat trauma surgeon and became a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army, working with medical teams in combat and disaster zones like Iraq and Haiti.
I’m proud to have played a part in saving hundreds of lives. Every single one of these lives is a person with a family, a life, a community, a story, and a dream. Many of those people have gone on to continue to serve our nation as soldiers, marines, airmen, sailors — and even a U.S. Senator.
For over a decade, I've built a successful medical practice in the Princeton area while spending countless hours volunteering to treat patients in overwhelmed hospitals, war zones, and disaster areas at home and abroad.

Everyday I see hospitals that can’t staff their emergency rooms. Doctors, who are trying to take care of their patients, have to fight with insurance companies and battle an insane level of bureaucracy just to do their jobs. And families — that’s all of us — are paying higher insurance premiums, and getting less care.
Too many people are being left without the care and stability that is a human right – and this affects all of us, whether you’re rich or poor and whether you have insurance or not.
The system isn’t built for regular people—it’s built for the ultra wealthy and the powerful.
It’s not just healthcare. The cost of living keeps rising — groceries, housing, electricity. Families are falling behind — even when they’re doing everything right.
Our education system is also falling behind. I went to public schools my entire life, from elementary school to medical school, and I received a top tier education — all of it here in New Jersey. But now you have to send your kids to strip malls for tutoring, if you can afford it. If not, your kids are left behind.
We need to get back to talking about the real issues that are hurting you and your family. This isn’t about one party or the other. The truth is, the whole system isn’t working for the American people.
"Now more than ever, we need courage in the halls of Congress to fight for us.
That is why I’m running to fight for every resident of New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District."
And the truth is, it never really has. Instead, it’s working for billionaires, special interests, and large corporations. Everyone else is expected to work harder, pay more, and accept less – and if you’re not at the top, you’re left in
the dust.

WHY I'M RUNNING
To build a government that works for you, not special interests
In the richest country in the world, you shouldn't have to choose between taking your medication and paying your bills. Your child's education shouldn't depend on their zip code. The economy should work for people whose hard work builds and sustains our communities—not just billionaires and corporations.
Our country faces crises of affordability and authoritarianism. We need a new generation of leaders with the courage to stand up to corruption and the competence to make life better for working families.

CORE VALUES
Courage & Integrity
I won’t take corporate PAC money or answer to special interests. I believe leadership should be measured by progress, honesty, and accountability to the people
we serve.
Service Over Self
Public service is about showing up, listening, and helping people navigate real challenges. Government should work for families, not for those with the most power and influence.
Human Dignity
Healthcare, education, housing, and food are human rights. Our tax dollars should be used to strengthen our communities, not to enrich corporate interests or fuel endless conflict abroad.
SERVICE & ACCOUNTABILITY
Corruption and abuse of power harm our democracy and our communities. Leaders must be held accountable and work transparently on behalf of the people.
